On Sunday, September the 12th from 3 to 4 pm, join with your fellow citizens from across the community, and sit back in chairs or lie back on blankets with a well stocked hamper of munchies and non-alcoholic beverages nearby as together we enjoy the vocal stylings of singer-songwriter Melanie McMillan and instrumental support provided by the remarkably fine musicians of M Theory. It will be a memorable afternoon of music. It's the Honda of South Carolina Concerts In The Park, and it's sponsored by the Florence Regional Arts Alliance in collaboration with the City of Florence Parks and Beautification and the Florence Museum. It's a monthly gift to the community, and it provides one of those wonderful opportunities to enjoy that exceptional talent of those living in our own community as well as those living in the Southeast. When talent sings, plays an instrument, speaks, dances, or expresses themselves in a myriad of other artistic ways, we mere mortals savor the gift of the Muses and often come really close to experiencing the sublime.
